I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist, living in "Sunny Florida," with my two beautiful, furry, four-legged "children." AKA, dogs. I have no other children.

Writing is my first love, which led me to my husband, a prolific writer by the name of Peter L. Smith. We met when I was 18 years old, studying Journalism and Creative Writing in college. Peter posted an ad at the college, looking for secretarial, and research help with his novel. I answered the ad, and three years later we married.

After seeing Peter through his final battle with cancer, I had a "calling" to become a respiratory therapist. While working as a therapist, I wrote nights, and had my first book published January 2009. The book, Faithful Devotion is a non-fiction tribute to honor Peter's life long struggle. It is available through my publisher, Raider Publishing International, Inc., Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com.

I am also Orlando's Pet Training Examiner, writing local stories on Examiner.Com

I am excited about continuing my writing career with Suite101.com
